Through close readings, feminist theory and cultural critique, Mastronardi examines themes of gender, memory, sexuality and narrative innovation, revealing how Joyce\u2019s legacy is both critically challenged and creatively extended in Irish women\u2019s fiction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The evening featured a talk by the author, an introduction by Professor Emeritus Anne Fogarty<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>(UCD), and a Q&amp;A session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dr. Annalisa Mastronardi<\/strong>&nbsp;is a literary scholar, journalist and writer. She holds a PhD in Irish literature from Dublin City University and is the author of&nbsp;<em>James Joyce\u2019s Legacies in Contemporary Irish Women\u2019s Writing<\/em>&nbsp;(Routledge, 2025). Her work, including articles, interviews and short stories, has appeared in&nbsp;<em>The Irish Independent<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Joyce Studies in Italy<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>The Martello Journal<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Hook Magazine<\/em>&nbsp;and other publications.
